Born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula, Courtney Jones came home in 2007 to raise her family and establish herself as a leader in the Carmel and Pebble Beach real estate markets. Through the depth and breadth of her experience, Courtney is ranked in the top 1% of agents in the United States and was the third highest performing individual agent on the Monterey Peninsula in 2023. Early on in her career, Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate, an international real estate network with 70,000 sales associates in 60 countries, awarded her Rookie of the Year in 2010 acknowledging her growing dominance in this highly competitive real estate market. Now with over a decade of experience and a loyal client base, Courtney is also able to support the organizations that mean the most to her. She joined the Board of Directors for the SPCA of Monterey County in 2020 and recently joined the National Charity League with her daughter. In her downtime, she enjoys The Beach and Tennis Club in Pebble Beach as her self described "happy place". Prior to joining Carmel Realty Company earlier this year Janet worked for 20+ years in Lake Tahoe as a real estate broker. She found navigating clients through the real estate maze challenging and rewarding. She feels fortunate to have made some excellent connections and developed many lifelong friendships. Like Carmel, being able to live and work in such a beautiful and exciting locale was just icing on the cake!

Janet was born in Nashville and after college held several positions with The Gap and Pottery Barn stores in Boston, New York and Atlanta.  One of those assignments brought her to the west coast where she became intrigued with the idea of opening a restaurant. The culinary arts had always interested her so she enrolled in the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. As it turned out, after several months it became critically obvious that a hot bustling professional kitchen was not to be her life's work and hung up her apron. She truly enjoys the local growers markets, cooking and creating things in the kitchen, but now chooses to do that for herself, her friends and her family.

Janet lives in Carmel with her husband and Shih Tzu. She is a member of the Pebble Beach Club and Quail Golf Club. In her free time she enjoys hiking around Point Lobos or Palo Corona, playing golf and pickle ball or spending time in the garden.

Michelle Payton

Michelle Payton is an agent with an eye for design. She knows just how to highlight a property’s best qualities to unlock a property’s fullest potential.

Michelle started her career in the financial services industry in customer service and administrative roles, which lead the ground work for the high touch service she provides her clients today. Having grown up in a family that emphasized the value of homeownership, she decided to pursue a career in real estate. Initially, Michelle worked as an office manager for a global commercial real estate firm as well as a part time residential agent before transitioning into a full time role at Monterey Coast Realty.

Michelle was born in Texas to Cuban parents and spent the majority of her childhood in Puerto Rico. She moved to Florida for college and graduated from Florida International University. Shortly after graduating, she followed her family to California and settled in the Monterey Peninsula.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and taking walks on the beach with her husband and two puppies: Mochi and Luca.

As a licensed Realtor at Monterey Coast Realty, Emily brings extraordinary Marketing, Technology, and Operating skills to each Real Estate transaction.

Emily has a degree from Purdue University in Public Relations and Rhetorical Advocacy. She has had years of experience bringing people together to accomplish common goals while giving back to her community. Most recently as an operations manager at Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey,

Emily has helped organize students on initiatives committed to making the world better for future generations.

As a point of transition into Real Estate Emily has built her own Real Estate Video and Digital content creation and distribution business. This business produces compelling videos for homes for sale, and then uses her marketing experience to gain extraordinary exposure through a variety of digital and social media channels including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and others. Emily has also recently worked in the Real Estate Transaction Management business, helping design improved process for the highly complicated brokerage transaction. In this role Emily has had to learn effective ways to handle the array of variables that make up a successful Real Estate transaction.

Emily is a genuine professional who works hard and prepares for every interaction. She is empathic, practical and consistent in all she does.

Stacey started her real estate career with the Mitchell Group in the 1980’s with a focus in Carmel, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach. She has maintained her real estate license to assist Courtney with showing property and hosting open houses and broker tours. She enjoys her memberships at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club and the Beach & Tennis Club in Pebble Beach. and has been a long time volunteer with the SPCA, as well as supporting the Authors & Ideas Festival and Santa Catalina School.
